Our government has some really weird policies, rules n & laws, The things they come up with seems to contradict the goals and aims they've set for themselves and to us all. For instance, i find it ridiculous that they impose higher tax on newer private owned diesel and hybrid cars. These newer class diesel cars consume much less fuel, get higher mileage, and produce way less emissions. The new Hybrids consumes so little gas but produces more output due to the electric motor charged by the petrol engine. So why make it harder for people to buy them? the government conception of Hybrids is borderline stupid to retarded. They charge the tax according to power output instead of engine capacity due to the electric motor. It's like TNB coming over to my house to charge me a bill for using free generated electricity from solar panels which i bought n install myself, instead of using the power source they provide. (Since when do they own the sun?!)

I'm currently in the market for a bike, (if you need to ask why, its because of the fuel hike & because its way cooler to be a rider than a cager) but not just any 125 "kapchai" motor, No, I'm thinking more of the Supersports Category that of which my current standing favorite is the Honda CBR600RR. And then i find out that the government also imposes a hefty tax premium on non-local bikes sold here too. This got me wondering why? According to them, its to protect the locally made bikes, but thats just a stupid answer for a blunt enough reason, to make money!

Local bikes only consist to those in the lower 125cc to 250cc categories, the tax is imposed throughout the entire motorcycle range. This doesn't make sense at all. They claim not to have money to subsidize our fuel when in fact we are paying more tax for ciggs, spirits, cars, bikes and god knows what else, and yet we have to succumb to market priced fuel which is ridiculous for an OPEC country. They say the money saved will be injected into the public transport ministry. Bull effing crap!! take anyone of those shit heads and force em to take the bus or the train and see how they like it. We should banned them from using the current means of transportation they are currently using (luxury limos with patrol escorts). They talk about solutions to problems they are insulated from so how can they know best whats good and not good for us?

You just know that the people here are being fucked upfront, back and sideways, and that somewhere in a secure parliamentary building, a bunch of Pollys(Politicians/Parrots) are smoking cigars, sipping on scotch, and counting our money.

Bah, i'm rambling alone... can't wait till i get the new toy...
