There's something terribly wrong with this country..
someone once told me that i have a problem with authority..
i simply replied:
"i have a problem with authority figures whom don't deserve their authority"
with that, i mean to name exactly who these people are..
politicians..
police...
security guards...
school teachers...
and in some cases.....
parents....
yes we live in very troubled times..
our world leaders and policy makers are no longer serving us..
security guards taking our IDs and License upon entering Condo lots..
teachers teaching thing they don't practice nor even know much about to begin with....
and most of you know i don't even have to begin to say anything about the police..
a friend cautioned me that my writings on the government could be labeled as heresy, treason, and sedition, in which the penalty is death...
well it is not..
for i have not conspired to bring down my country..
nor have i plotted against the downfall of this nation..
no..
I'm simply stating to my readers that we have lost track of our rights and patriotism..
we don't hate this country.. we hate how it is being run..
we know it can be done better..
i have tons of friend that say they can't wait to leave to Australia, UK or the States...
all this because of the hipocracy and status of our nation..
we are being lied to every day...
an establishment of a government in its broadest sense, "to govern" means to administer or supervise..
but to control or supervise what exactly? what is the focus?
Democracy in a sense means that people as a whole hold political power. We have control of who to lead us and how they should govern us.
People, in this sense means us...
Yes we are the focus...
Our interest are supposed to be the focus...
but tell me why do bloggers in blogsphere get the same threat of sedition and heresy for voicing our opinions?
why are we told to shut up when there are things to be complained about?
no..
we are no longer the focus...
the focus are now those pieces of papers in which we define our currency.. money..
i can understand why politicians and world leaders require and attain privileges..
they need protection and resources to help them with their jobs..
but why do they need 5 million dollar haciendas, 15 luxury cars, salaries that rivals many hardworking businessmen?
i don't see how any of these things help them with their job, and if they do then why aren't they getting better at it?
if we normal people do not meet our quota, we get overtime or salary cuts or no bonuses..
they however seem to be getting more and more despite what they say about the country's weakening economy...
I'm telling you all this is because we are not powerless...
they can stop us when we act alone..
but if we all voice out and come together...
we have nothing to fear..
so i say...
if you see, hear or know of something that you know is not right..
share it.. and speak it out..
the time for action will follow suit once the time is right..
