Spent the time before eve at Market Place in KL. The place has a fantastic interior, but being so secluded meant low crowd volume and expensive menus. However the setting was nice and the music pleasant. One the best part of nite was getting complimentary drinks and nibbles for the better half of the nite.

The celebration was a let down tho, the crowd waited patiently for the countdown but it never came. No loud thunderous fireworks, no fancy flashes of light, nothing.... The crowd celebrated and sent poppers and balloons flying at random intervals following their own watches on when the time actually came.

Left KL for Bangsar to join Jag and Yong Tau Foo for drinks later on. Crashed at Wrong's place for movie then headed home. Traffic wasn't so bad, the rempits were (they should be sterilized but then we wont have anyone to run our factories and 711s).
